Exhibiting at Somerset House for London Fashion Weekend

A couple of weeks ago I got an email from The Other Art Fair to let me know that my piece The Secret of England's Greatness was to be exhibited at Somerset House for London Fashion Weekend.

The Secret of England's Greatness

I am one of nine artists selected for the exhibition which will be a salon style display of artworks which all have a fashion related theme. The link in my piece is Mrs Beckham with the Chanel Handbag which she is offering to a grateful President Obama. The works by the artists selected seem to be quite varied in content and medium so I think it will be a really great collection of pieces.

There will be Rosie Emerson's photography; Emerson has just collaborated with Annoushka Jewellery and currently has her work on display in the Annoushka flagship store in Chelsea (see here for more details http://www.rosieemerson.co.uk/).

There will also be works by Caroline Jane Harris who explores dynamic patterns embodied in all living and non-living things, ciphers formed through geometric shape and organic growth.

Other artists in the exhibition are Jennifer martin, Dean shim, Ernesto canovas, Juliana manara, Danielle hodson, and Alicia grima.

Later on in November I will be exhibiting at The Other Art Fair with Tinsel Edwards which I will write about at a later date. The Other Art Fair is a new fair searching for 100 of the most talented, unrepresented and emerging artists. The Other Art Fair is focused on generating exposure and providing artists with the opportunity to sell work to a discerning audience in excess of 3,000 art buyers including gallerists, curators and dealers.
