Debut Contemporary at The Salon Gallery, Westbourne Grove

I will be exhibiting some work as part of this exciting innovation by Wolf and Badger duo Samir Ceric and Zoe Knight who also own The Salon Gallery. The Debut Contemporary is a mentoring scheme for selected artists and designers who will be exhibiting work, going to seminars led by professional artists, gallerist, collectors and so on and also have the opportunity to collaborate on projects with the likes of Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

The exhibition is opening on March 2nd and is invite only so make sure you RSVP if you want to go along! All the contact details are on the invite below.

The final list of artists is yet to be revealed but other artists I know to be taking part are Tinsel Edwards, Chantal Powell and Mark Scott-wood.

UK Map - Read all about it!

So I have been spending the last 6 months at least working on a new piece which is a map of the UK. I havent been working on it constantly, just spending a week on it here and there between painting/working/general living...but it has been a wonderful challenge!

The map is 3 metre squared and is made up of my collection of newspaper articles and clippings all about the UK. The design of the map has been based on designs of old maps and atlases.

I only have some work in progress photos at the moment but will be posting some final photos up here very soon!
